Cascade Locks

The Moth World is around the corner for Mikis and myself.

we arrive on Thursday around 1pm. After having to find a Driver to take us to Cascade Locks about 60km away from the airport. We finally got to our small motel.. The temperature outside was around 40°...This's not usual normally here.. But something that is for sure is that the wind is always present in Cascade Locks around 15-20knots from the West. in the Evening we when for a Boat trip on the Colombia River that was really nice.. see some Pics below...

Friday the Boats finally arrive to the club house were we can't leave them until Monday Morning so we had to take them to the parking of our motel. that was must better that wait until Monday to be able to open the Box. In the Afternoon we went for a Shopping session in Portland and also get our Rental car from the Airport. Having a car here is really usefull otherwise you can't go anywhere.. Cascade Locks must have about 3'000 people even we think 1'000 it's a maximum.

Saturday. We spend the all morning working on the boat to get ready.. on the parking. In the afternoon we when up to Hood River about 25km away this's probably the spot#1 for Kiteboarding and Windsurfing in the World about 200 people on the water in the same place.. the wind is perfect 25-30knots no wave and a sand bank...

Tomorrow we are going to Portland in the Morning to check out some Shopping center. and we will finish our Boat work...
